The find result can be updated or a new document created<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>When setting up a Zap, The <strong><em>Find <\/em><\/strong>action can be used to locate a document in the ContentBot.ai document library, if no matching document is found, a new document can be created, the following guide walks through the process of Setting up a Zap to search for a document title, create a document if no match is found, or update the existing document with the content retrieved from an RSS update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-embed-handler wp-block-embed-embed-handler wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Using FIND in a ContentBot Zap\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ixAMCnmk81U?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>From your <a href=\"https:\/\/zapier.com\/app\/dashboard\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Zapier Dashboard<\/a> select the <strong>+ Create Zap <\/strong>button, and name your Zap (optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h_f4ff7cc20b\">Step 2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Configure your Trigger :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select The Trigger Application, in this example we&#8217;ll be using the Built in <strong>RSS <\/strong>tool<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chose the Event trigger, in this case we&#8217;ll be selecting <strong><em>New item in Feed<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Continue<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Populate the trigger details, in our RSS trigger example, we insert the <strong><em>Feed URL<\/em><\/strong> and select the recommended option for <strong><em>What Triggers a New Feed Item<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Continue <\/strong>and <strong>Test Trigger, <\/strong>and <strong>Continue<\/strong> again once the test is successful<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h_2ebccb3f06\">Step 3<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Configure the Action :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select <strong><em>ContentBot <\/em><\/strong>as the action Application<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Find Document <\/strong>as the <strong>Event<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Continue and choose your ContentBot user as the<strong> ContentBot account<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Continue<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Populate the <strong>Set up action<\/strong> details, in this example we will select RSS <strong>Title <\/strong>as search term that will be used the <strong>Title <\/strong>Field. We then check the <strong>Create ContentBot Document if it does&#8217; exist yet<\/strong>? box. We then add details to the Create <strong>HTML <\/strong>input box, in this example we add some free text, as well as the RSS <strong><em>Title, <\/em><\/strong><em>RSS <strong>Link <\/strong>and RSS<\/em> <strong><em>Description<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Continue <\/strong>and <strong>Test Action, <\/strong>and <strong>Publish Zap <\/strong>once the test is successful<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h_d8ffd34b55\">Step 4<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Review the Zap and documents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new Zap should now be visible in <a href=\"https:\/\/zapier\/app\/zaps\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Zapier <\/a>and can be monitored on the Zaps page<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the RSS feed is updated, your Zap will now update any document with a matching title to the News items, or create a new document in <a href=\"https:\/\/contentbot.ai\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ContentBot.ai<\/a> and these documents can be found in your <a href=\"https:\/\/contentbot.ai\/app\/documents\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Documents <\/a>folder, ready for editing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Using the Find action in Zapier to locate a document in your document library.
